When is training?

Training is every Tuesday and Thursday in season at Howard Dawson Reserve, 6:30pm to 8:30pm. It's free to come down, and you don't need to be registered to train.

When does the season start and end?

The season starts in mid April and finishes in early September. In 2027, Round 1 is Sunday 11 April. If you're in the Australia Cup (Dockerty Cup) squad, games start in February.

How do I join?

Fill out an expression of interest form and we'll be in touch.

How much does it cost to register?

$500 for the 2027 season, the same for every team. That includes the Football Victoria and Football Australia fees. See the breakdown.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Your Swinburne FC fee can go on a payment plan, as long as at least a quarter of it is paid by Round 1 and the rest by Round 9. The $255 in Football Victoria and Football Australia fees needs to be paid in full before Round 1.

Am I insured if I get injured?

Yes. As a registered Swinburne FC player you're covered by Football Victoria's insurance for injuries sustained during an official Football Victoria match. The cover includes Personal Accident, Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Public and Products Liability. You can make a claim here, and there's more on Football Victoria's insurance program.

What level do you play?

Our Seniors, Reserves and Thirds compete in Football Victoria's Metropolitan Leagues South-East divisions. The new Over 30s team is a casual side starting in 2027.
